Abouttheauthor

Edward Healy Thompson (1813–1891) was a prominent British Catholic theologian and writer in the nineteenth century. Educated at Cambridge and initially ordained as an Anglican minister, he converted to Catholicism in 1846, thereafter devoting himself intensely to defending the Catholic faith and spreading its tradition in the English-speaking world.
